A rare Ferrari postcard with an even rarer signature!
This authentic Willy Mairesse signed Ferrari Factory issued postcard is a rare piece of Formula 1 and Ferrari memorabilia. Hand-signed by Belgian racing legend ‘Wild’ Willy Mairesse.
Mairesse raced for Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1 and sports car competition, known for his exceptional speed and aggressive driving style. He competed in the Formula 1 World Championship, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the World Sportscar Championship, driving some of Ferrari’s most legendary cars of the period.
Following a serious accident at the 1968 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mairesse struggled with injuries and personal difficulties. He died in 1969 at the age of 40, making his autograph increasingly scarce and highly collectible.
The signature is clear and well-preserved, a collectable card in its own right, it is made all the more special with Mairesse’s autograph.
