Michel Weber Porsche Race Used Helmet

A rare chance to own a race used helmet from a Porsche Le Mans podium finisher

This personal race helmet of Michel Weber was used extensively throughout the 1960’s and early 1970’s driving some of Porsche’s greatest cars in period like the 908 and 917K!

The helmet comes from the Weber family and is accompanied with photographs of Weber using the helmet in period

Weber finished third during the 1972 running the of the Le Mans 24 Hours driving the Jöst Porsche 908/02 Langheck. The 908 beat the more modern Alfa Romeo 33TT3 of Nino Vaccarella-Andrea de Adamich

Weber retired from driving the following year in 1973

The orange Bell Star helmet features many race marks and comes from a time when drivers used the same helmet for multiple seasons
