A striking piece of modern Formula One history, this special-edition 1:2 scale Bell helmet replicates the design worn by Kimi Antonelli at the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka and has been personally signed by the Mercedes driver across the visor in bold silver marker.
Created specifically for the Japanese Grand Prix, the helmet formed part of the distinctive Y-3 x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team collaboration. The dramatic black-and-white design is dominated by a fierce wolf motif, tying into the team’s special Suzuka identity and its “Unleashing the Beast” theme. The collaboration brought together Mercedes and Y-3, the label created by adidas and celebrated Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, with the wolf artwork carried across the team’s cars, racewear and helmets for the weekend.
The significance of the helmet is amplified considerably by what Antonelli achieved while wearing the full-size version. Having secured pole position at Suzuka, Antonelli suffered excessive wheelspin at the start and fell as low as sixth on the opening lap. He recovered strongly and, following a perfectly timed Safety Car period, emerged at the head of the field before controlling the remainder of the race and taking victory by 13.722 seconds over Oscar Piastri.
It was Antonelli’s second consecutive Formula One victory, following his maiden Grand Prix win in China just two weeks earlier. More importantly, victory at Suzuka moved the 19-year-old to the top of the Drivers’ Championship, making him the youngest driver in Formula One history to lead the World Championship standings, aged just 19 years, seven months and four days.
The helmet has been personally signed by Kimi Antonelli across the visor in silver, creating a superb contrast against the blue finish.
With the Suzuka design produced as a limited-edition special release, examples have already proved highly sought after.
