Jo Siffert Signed 1967 German Grand Prix Programme

An original official programme from the 1967 German Grand Prix, hand signed across the front cover by celebrated Swiss racing driver Jo Siffert.

Held at the formidable Nürburgring on 6 August 1967, the German Grand Prix was one of the most demanding events of the Formula One season. Siffert qualified 12th in his Cooper-Maserati before retiring from the race after 11 laps. The Grand Prix was won by Denny Hulme, who would go on to secure the 1967 Formula One World Championship.

Siffert’s signature appears across the distinctive red section of the programme’s illustrated front cover.

Affectionately known as “Seppi”, Jo Siffert was one of Switzerland’s greatest racing drivers. He achieved two Formula One World Championship victories, famously defeating the works Ferraris to win the 1968 British Grand Prix for Rob Walker’s privateer team before taking a second victory with BRM at the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix.

Siffert was equally accomplished in endurance racing and became one of Porsche’s most important works drivers. His successes included victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in 1968, the Targa Florio in 1970 and the first race victory for the Porsche 917 at Zeltweg in 1969. His speed, versatility and charismatic personality made him one of the defining international drivers of his generation.

Siffert was tragically killed at Brands Hatch in October 1971, aged just 35. Original autographs from his career are consequently scarce and remain highly sought after by collectors of Formula One, Porsche and sports-car racing history.
